at St Thomas of Canterbury

In recognition of our dedication to sport, St Thomas' has been awarded a Bronze kite mark for the third year running!

In recognition of our dedication to sport, St Thomas’ has been awarded a Bronze kite mark for the fourth year running!

At St Thomas' we recognise the contribution of P.E. to the health and well-being of our pupils.  In addition, it is considered that an outstanding P.E. curriculum and extra curricular opportunities have a positive influence on the concentration, attitude and academic achievement of the children. To celebrate the extra curricular achievements of our children we keep a yearly gallery which you can view at the bottom of this page.

For the next academic year, every Primary School will be receiving £8,000 (plus £5 per Year 1 - Year 6 pupil) of DFE Sports funding.  We aim to use this funding to deliver a high quality P.E. experience through a number of different strategies as highlighted in our action plan.  For more information about Sports Premium, please click the link below
