Our Lady’s Garden-Official Opening

On Tuesday 21st May we were proud to officially open our new prayer garden dedicated to Our Lady. The Chaplaincy Team led a beautiful liturgy and Father Cyril blessed the area and cut the ribbon to officially open our new sacred space. Forest School – Making Birds Nests

The children gathered lots of natural objects from around the school grounds to make birds nests.  The birds nests are to represent new life, following on from our RE lessons.  


New Life

In RE the children have been thinking about the new life that Jesus was given at Easter time.  The children went around the school grounds to look for signs of new life.

The Nursery children have been learning about the Easter story.  The children went to collect lots of natural items from around the school grounds to create an Easter garden for our outdoor RE area.


Red Nose Day!

The children took part in pancake races in the school hall to celebrate Shrove Tuesday.


Ash Wednesday Liturgy

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. The Chaplaincy Team led the whole school in prayer and Deacon Adrian kindly administered the ashes to remind us that Lent is a time for prayer, reconciliation and sacrifice.


Making Temples

After hearing the story about Jesus going to the Temple, the children worked together to make their own Temples out of wooden bricks.


Looking For Jesus!

In RE the Nursery children heard the story about Jesus going to the Temple and getting lost.  The children used a wooden figure to represent Jesus and took it in turns to hide Jesus around the classroom and asked their friends to find Him.
