Forest School Come Dine- Week 2

This week we had two courses… Jazzle Dazzle Chefs- Pasta with freshly chopped tomatoes and a homemade sauce. Well done girls! Score: 8.5/10.   Feed the Forest- A selection of sweet burritos filled with chocolate, fresh fruit and mini marshmallows wrapped in tin foil cooked on the fire. what a sweet treat it was…Score: 7/10.


Forest school Come Dine-Week 1

Forest Feasts made Macaroni cheese with a side salad and a glass of fresh juice. Fantastic teamwork! Score: 7.5/10


Forest school Come Dine With Us- All the children designed their dish in their groups and chose a team name.

Where Is That Letter?

The children had their first experience of orienteering today.  They all enjoyed looking for letters around the school field and then clipping the corresponding letter on their paper.


Forest School

In Forest School the children were learning about the importance of looking after our world.  They concentrated on the impact of litter in the environment and how we can look after the wild animals by not destroying the forests.


Forest School – Making Birds Nests

The children gathered lots of natural objects from around the school grounds to make birds nests.  The birds nests are to represent new life, following on from our RE lessons.

During this session we created our Forest school names, we familiarised ourselves with the Forest school rules and explored our forest area. Robbin is our FS mascot.
