Investigating Rivers

Year 5&6 have been studying rivers from their source to the sea.  We investigated how water would flow when the children built their own landscape models, created using soil, moss, twigs and stones. Once completed water was poured onto the model to see what would happened.

 LYear 5&6 were investigating how levers, gears and pulleys can help us by reducing the amount of force needed to move heavy objects. We needed to adopt our new growth mindset to help solve some of the challenges faced.

Year 5 began cooking today. We started with making fruit kebabs where they could practice their chopping skills.
