  • Educate every person by providing a creative, enjoyable, broad and balanced curriculum and offer continuous professional development
  • Acknowledge each pupil’s individual needs and strengths and offer personalised learning
  • Respect every person and develop self respect, in order that each individual may take their place as a participating member of the school community, and implement clear structures for acceptable behaviour
  • Enable every pupil to develop literacy and communication skills – to read, write, speak and listen accurately and effectively in order to prepare them for further education and employment
  • Enable every pupil to develop number concepts, fractions and the building blocks of algebra in order to prepare them for further education and employment

School Mission Statement

“We Learn, Love, Respect and Accept Our Responsibilities Through Our Faith in Jesus Christ”

Christianity lies at the heart of the school. Personal Social Health Education (PSHE) is central to the whole school ethos and is fully embedded into the curriculum and community.

The school community acknowledges and respects the individuality of pupils and nurtures their talents, regardless of their cultural background and religious belief.  Staff fully support all pupils including those with Special Educational Needs and those who are gifted and talented .

The school’s religious scheme of work covers multi-faith education and the Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning (SEAL)

The whole school attends Mass on Special Feast Days and Holy Days of Obligation.  Mass is presided by Father John White who is committed to enhancing the spiritual welfare of all those associated with the school.
