What Can We Hear?

In phonics the Nursery children went around the school to discover what sounds they could hear.  The children made big listening ears to help them listen.  The children had to listen very carefully!

Forest school- Autumn term session 1

  This week we have started to create our very own Stone Age village. We have made masks out of mud and ‘forest litter’, so now our forest has eyes!

The children used gross motor movements to create pictures on the playground using chalk.

The Reception children explored the whole school looking for shapes in the environment.

Stone Age Cave Painting

As part of our Stone Age topic, year 3/4 have been learning about cave painting. They looked at cave paintings from around the world and had a go at their paintings/drawings in their very own caves (under the desks!). They enjoyed using charcoal and chalk-although some of them got a little messy!

Investigating Magnets

Year 3/4 enjoyed investigating Magnets. They were able to explain what forces the magnets produced using the key words ‘attract’ and ‘repel’.  

First Holy Communion

Our First PE Lesson
