Handling Victorian Artefacts

As part of Y3/4’s Victorian History topic, they spent the afternoon exploring and handling artefacts from the Victorian home. They had great fun finding out what all the objects were and how they were used.


Jesus Loves Children

In RE this week we have been learning that Jesus loves everyone, especially children. After hearing the story from the Bible, Nursery made a collage of children around Jesus.  


Eating marmalade sandwiches!

This week we have been learning about Paddington Bear.  At snack time the children enjoyed sharing marmalade sandwiches with their favourite soft toy, just like Paddington!  


Year 5 Cooking

Year 5 began cooking today. We started with making fruit kebabs where they could practice their chopping skills.


Forest School

This week in Forest School the Reception children were making their own home for a bear to hibernate in.  The children collected sticks to create a bear cave or den.


Skittles!

Nursery enjoyed playing a game of skittles.  The children had to count carefully the number of skittles they had knocked down and then match to the correct numeral.


The Baptism of the Lord

Nursery enjoyed their first physical development session with Mr Fitzgerald.  The children worked in pairs to roll the ball accurately to each other and then the children had to throw a beanbag on to a target spot.


Jesus In The Temple

In RE we listened to the story about Jesus getting lost at the temple. We acted out the story and then created our own temples using duplo and wooden blocks.
